Addison, TX (prHWY.com) February 19, 2012 - Dallas, TX--A Distinctive Style multi-media magazine kicks off the New Year by celebrating women of all ages, who've fulfilled a plethora of personal and professional goals--and they've only just begun.
"This issue pays tribute to women, especially baby-boomers, who are making a difference in the world, every single day," says denise marie, Publisher of A Distinctive Style. "It's nice to see how much you can still accomplish, at any age, with no excuses."

The Winter issue salutes actress, trend-setter, and activist Diane Keaton, who graces the cover with--what else?--her trademark fedora.
"Diane's family life was pretty traditional, but her mother kept a series of journals for years," says marie. These journals provided Diane with a deeper glimpse inside her mother's life.

Sadly, Keaton's mother was later diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. "It was a difficult time for Diane," says marie, who included information in the magazine about the National Alzheimer's Association. "Diane reminds readers that they are not alone in the personal fight against Alzheimer's. She's been there. We are all affected, and we can all lean on, and learn from, each other."
The Winter issue also features an in-depth interview with actress, fitness enthusiast and go-getter Jane Fonda. Fonda, 73, is still going strong. She's not only a role model for other women, but she maintains a busy, self-fulfilling schedule of fitness, friends, family and performing. "Her energy is contagious," says marie.
"Over sixty" supermodel Cindy Joseph is also highlighted in the current issue. Proud of her long, wavy gray hair, Joseph was discovered by a model scout at age 49, appearing in national print ads and magazine covers. A former celebrity makeup artist, Joseph recently launched her own cosmetics line, affectionately called BOOM! By Cindy Joseph. Her non-toxic, non-greasy, and animal-free makeup products contain beeswax and other skin-safe ingredients. "We love her makeup," says marie. "It doesn't leave any residue on the skin or feel heavy and enhances your natural hue." Says, Joseph, who enjoys traveling, working out and, of course, laughing: "I'm happy that modeling at my age has opened people's minds to more possibilities in their own lives."
In the Winter 2012 issue, readers can also find green skincare products, interactive videos, music, and more. Other profiles include Sara Snow, a green activist who dishes advice on Discovery Networks shows; Alesandra Rain, a radio talk show host and prescription drug expert who explores the meaning of 'Aging Gracefully;' and quotes and personal anecdotes from women around the world, who discuss what motivates them to succeed and how they live regret-free.
