(prHWY.com) December 13, 2012 - Seattle, WA -- One of the hottest topics nationwide has been the cost of healthcare. Healthcare costs seem to be on the rise with no end in sight. Lawmakers, politicians, doctors and insurance companies have all gathered together to find a solution that will help lower healthcare costs, but what if they aren't looking at the right solution?

A local software guru who has followed the debate regarding the cost of healthcare may have found the solution - installing managed document review software in all doctors' offices, hospitals and insurance companies.

"I firmly believe that by simply installing [managed document review software into doctors' offices, hospitals, insurance companies and companies that have to deal with the healthcare industry, we could lower healthcare costs", said John Green.

"I know it sounds crazy, but I've done the research and tallied the numbers and I think it really could work."

John Green believes that the installation of this software could really lower the cost of healthcare. The reason this software program could lower the costs of healthcare is by improving the efficiency of communication between all levels of the healthcare industry.

"What this software would do would be increase communication and make it easier for people to communicate across the board", said Green. "It may sound surprising, but almost 25% of the cost of healthcare goes to individuals who are just trying to communicate between each division. I estimate that if communication were improved there would be no need to have to pay so many people to communicate with each other."

It might sound hard to believe that the installation of this software program could really help, but Green has tried it out in several doctors' offices. The results were truly amazing.

"Installing one software program in one doctor's office improved the way the office operated", said Green. "The doctor estimated that he saved over $10,000 over the course of two to three months. That was just on a small scale. Think of what could happen on a bigger scale."

John Green plans to create a master plan that he will present to doctors and politicians at the next meeting regarding the cost of healthcare. He believes that it might be worth the investment to have multiple hospitals and doctors' offices install the program.

"I think that anything that might help lower healthcare costs should be considered", said Green. "We'll see what happens when I present this. I'm excited and confident someone will see the way."
