Drake & Scull International signs AED 149 million worth MEP contracts for a Residential Tower in India and a Hotel Apartment and a

The new MEP project award in India is the first for us in the residential sector and we aim to further expand in this sector

(prHWY.com) November 28, 2012 - Dubai, United Arab Emirates -- [Dubai, 27 November, 2012] Drake & Scull International PJSC (DSI), a regional market leader in integrated design, engineering and construction disciplines of Civil Contracting, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP), Water and Power, Oil and Gas, and Rail, has signed today two MEP contracts for a AED 55 million hotel apartment project and a AED 40 million district cooling project in Qatar in addition to a AED 54 million residential tower project in India.

Mobilization on site for the three projects is underway. The hotel apartment project is scheduled for completion in February 2014 and the district cooling project in November 2013, similarly the residential tower is also expected to be completed in November 2013.

On this occasion Khaldoun Tabari, CEO of Drake & Scull International PJSC, commented "Qatar remains a key strategic market for DSI in the region and we expect a stronger momentum of project awards next year as we have not seen many contracts materialize in 2012.
