(prHWY.com) October 17, 2012 - Newyork, CA -- If there's one thing that you should first understand completely with the Diablo 3 game is to understand all its involved character classes. In fact, another interesting thing about this version of the popular role playing game is that you can already get to choose the gender of your character choice. With five characters presented in the forms of Monk, Demon Hunter, Wizard, Barbarian and Witch Doctor and two genders for each, you are actually given a total of ten options before you even start the game.

Monk. This is the newest character in the game and can be compared with the Assassin character from Diablo 2. This character is very apt in melee combat and also an expert in martial arts. It comes with a full set of defensive abilities but relies on the regeneration of spirit on a gradual phase. The main skills include the Impenetrable Defense, Crippling Wave, Seven Sided Strike, Way of the Hundred Fists and Exploding Palm.

Wizard. This one is often compared to Diablo 2's Sorceress. It comes with a wide array of skills and other abilities but depends on the arcane power which also regenerates but in a quick pace. His main strength is magic and skills include the Teleport, Disintegrate, Magic Missile, Slow Time and Electrocute.

Demon Hunter. The Demon Hunter was created when the developers put into retirement the Amazon and the Assassin characters from the second version of Diablo 2. It relies on two abilities called as hatred and discipline. The regeneration of discipline is slow while hatred regenerates fast. This character is also skillful with the use of small bombs and a crossbow. The main skills include the Entangling Shot, Grenade, Bola and Fan of Knives.

Witch Doctor. This is also a brand new character for Diablo 3 but has a lot of similarities with the Necromancer character in Diablo 2. It depends on the slow regeneration of mana and influenced highly by voodoo and shamanism. This makes the character unique from the Necromancer but the main skills are Locus Swarm, Horrify, Firebomb, Mass Confusion and Soul Harvest.

Barbarian. This is the only character that survived from the second edition of Diablo. It has been just redesigned to improve its prowess and strength to be converted as its main features. It is one of the best characters to play for beginners to serve as your initial character. Each time this character is attacked, the Barbarian generates so much anger and fury that enables him to crush all his opponents. The main skills included are the Lap and Cleve, Seismic Slam, Ground Stomp, and Whirlwind.
