(prHWY.com) September 14, 2012 - Seattle, WA -- In a very interesting essay for a science-based publication, the Dallas Psychology Magazine has published an information piece suggesting that simply having your business meeting in their fair city will exponentially increase the chances of whatever product you are talking about succeeding financially.
"It really does seem like a peculiar phenomenon," said lead researcher Carl Knotts, "but what we've found is that it really doesn't matter what product you are selling. If you have a business meeting in Dallas about it, chances are the it will eventually be profitable."
"The numbers don't lie," said financial analyst Jenny McAdams. "If you look at people who have meetings about similar products, but don't have the meetings in Dallas, then you'll find that all the statistics are about average. So what we're saying, quite literally, is that there is something scientifically magical about the Dallas geographical area."
A team of people has been gathered by the magazine, and these people have been doing various tests around Dallas for the past several months now.
"There have been all sorts of interesting theories to try to explain why the success rate of business meetings would be so high here," said Dan Comstock, one of the people doing the testing.
"We've been checking to see if it's anything that is potentially in the water system here. We've been looking into weather patterns. We've taken soil samples, natural resource samples - everything. We even checked to see if Dallas is on one of the
Earth's famous 'Dragon Lines'. No answers yet, but we'll keep looking until we find an answer."
In the meantime, it seems like now if you have any interest in giving yourself a fighting chance of having a great business meeting, you should obviously start making travel plans to have you and your team meet in Texas and then all converge on the city of Dallas as soon as possible.
"We've had a dramatic increase in the number of business rooms being rented since the publication came out," notes John Renolds, who owns some of the larger buildings in the area used for this purpose, "so not only are you profiting by having great meetings, but the local economy is getting a boost as well. This seems to be one of those cases where everybody wins, but no one is exactly quite sure why."
