What IT should know about Windows 8

they venture into its abilities and enhancements. Some of the major ones are as under;

One of the main things that Windows 8 has is the ability to be mobile and that means a compatibility
options for a processor that has been designed to run on smaller devices. In that sense the ARM family
and company of processors comes to mind. In that same case Windows 8 was being designed to be very
light and able to run on them, and that's why Microsoft kept that in mind and more than ever, it will run
better. That means good bye to the Intel family of processors. That means that IT pros will need to deal
with a totally new processor and its capabilities, which if it has any, time will tell.

Windows 8 isn't the same as was NT, which was designed to run on multiple platforms, no, it's
something totally different and more than ever intelligent. The main thing being that it is optimized for
touch interface and impressions, these aren't popular among some of the pros nowadays who are prone
to using the mouse and the keyboard as shortcuts, and some of them may need to take the longer way
in, or the shorter way, if they aren't aware of the interface.

The third and most important thing that all pros must know is that Windows 8 has its own identity
thanks to Microsoft in getting to know systems scenario. In saying that, Windows 8 has its own
independent API and touch interface gestures that have been designed to forgo their own compatibility
options which Microsoft will soon release, a series of options for added compatibility, so there is still
hope to reap something new from Windows 8.
