As part of their commitment to charity fundraising, the team at Essex-based SEO Positive are proud to announce their decision to take part in this year's "Tough Guy" competition in a bid to raise money for children's charity, Parc.
(prHWY.com) June 14, 2012 - Essex, United Kingdom -- The demanding challenge takes part on July 15th this year and involves a 19km run through a gruelling set of obstructions, including super strength hybrid stinging nettles, barbed wire and mud pits and is designed to task troops for the armed forces. Described as one of the toughest obstacle courses across the globe, there are a range of tests to be taken throughout the year, including the original Tough Guy, Nettle Warrior and Screwball.
In a fundraising attempt, a number of the online marketing experts at SEO positive will be participating in the Nettle Warrior event to raise money for their chosen charity, Parc. Parc provides recreation facilities for children with disabilities and the team hope to raise £1000 for the cause through their
Just Giving page. Managing Director at SEO Positive, Ben Austin, explains why the team have entered such a punishing regime.
"I'm delighted that the team has dedicated their time to such a worthy cause. The work Parc do is truly commendable and we hope to raise as much money as possible to help them in their endeavours. Training is currently underway to prepare the team for the forthcoming event.
