New Biloxi Casino Worth $62 Million Is Launched - Above 4,000 Guests attend the Ceremony

The casino costs $62 million and houses 1,000 employees. More than 4,000 VIP guests witnessed the opening ceremony along with others from scenic party boats and kayaks, forming a parrothead yacht club.

"We have already scheduled the first boxing match in June," says Tom Brosig, CEO of the casino. The casino is the first one opened in South Mississippi after Hard Rock in Biloxi that was opened in 2007.
"The casino is great for Biloxi, and also for the entire area," says Mike Hollywood, of Ocean Springs. He was present there at the opening event along with his girl friend, Anne Kiper, and enjoyed signing along to the tune of "Come Monday."

John Hairston says that the casino is just like the one we were expecting and it doesn't have a single match in the area and surroundings.

"It will be a big attraction for people and the new blood will bring more business in the area of Ocean Springs," says Connie Moran, Mayor of Ocean Springs.

Some of the guests of the opening event of Margaritaville casino showed their wish to win some dollars at the games offered in the casino while Jessie Hutton of Hammond wanted to see the volcano slider and try her luck at the tables as well.

Janice Richardson, Gulfport, said that she can't wait for the actual opening of the games at the casino and wants to play as soon as possible. She also admired the inner looks of the casino.

Some of the event guests showed keen interest in the resort while others appreciated the casino step of Jimmy Buffet and declared it as a gift for the people of Biloxi. Some suggested Buffet to open the online and phone casino version of Margaritaville casino as well to attract the global audiences.

Hopes are all high with this new Biloxi casino and people expect it to bring huge business for the area.
