It became a habit of mine to document whatever was happening around me, do some editing, and then post them for everyone to see. My family became my followers because they loved what I was doing. Then my friends followed suit. Now, I have some followers I do not really know. My followers do not really reach a million but I just have some who also share the love of videos.
I love making copies of videos as gifts to family and friends. I often burn files on DVDs. Those videos were not meant to be seen by others so instead of posting them online. I give people copies for them to see. I love it when people watch my videos at home especially during holidays. It shows that they do care about what I do and they appreciate it. Plus they can remember important memories. I actually often spend more time making copies of videos than making them. But it doesn't matter how many hours it takes me to do it because I love doing it.
I could say that my
DVD drive could be over used but I couldn't help it. I have to make dozens of copies. I think I wore down my optical drive because of too much file burning. One day I could not burn any files. I think I burned 20 copies on Christmas alone.

I set out to do the replacing myself. I ordered the part and did it myself. I have some confidence in fixing electronic gadgets since I fixed my radio before. I was careful in following directions in case I damaged my laptop. I was surprised to find how easy it was to replace the optical drive. I didn't even receive any help from anybody. I just did it all myself.
After replacing the optical drive I tested it and burned a file. It was actually successful. I quickly burned more. I actually made a video for friends to enjoy during the summer break. Since everybody would be on vacation, we would see each other when we went back to school.
I really had fun doing the replacing of the part myself. I felt that I had accomplished something even though it was just a replacement of a laptop part. Now, I can go back to doing what I love to do without worrying about my laptop crashing since I have proven to myself that I can easily fix it provided that the replacement parts for laptops are available. Whoever said that fixing a laptop is impossible if you are not a computer technician?
