R4i SDHC 3DS card perfecetly supports nintendo 3DS v2.2.0-4E
The R4 3DS team has once again released an update to their newest R4i cards for the Nintendo 3DS. The new update now has full support for the latest Nintendo 3DS system update, which was release just a few weeks ago.
(prHWY.com) November 22, 2011 - Newyork, NY -- A new update has been released by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS system. This new version, version 2.2 added some features and functionality to the Nintendo 3DS systems by way of allowing some estore purchases and a slightly improved web browser. As is sometimes the case with these updates, owners of the famous R4 3DS Cards will also have to update their firmware on their cards in order to continue using their favorite homebrew games and applications.
The R4 3DS Cards at present support the newest Nintendo DSI v1.4.3 as well as the 3DS v2.1.3 updates. A new version of the kernel is being released in the next week which will once again add support and compatibility for the r4 cards for the newest v2.2 3DS OS version. Until the release of the update, the R4 Team suggests that you do not upgrade your 3DS to this new OS, in order to avoid having your card stop working while they work on a release.

It is important that we note that this does NOT brick your Nintendo 3DS system or your R4 3DS cards in any way. It is simply a matter of the card not being recognized once you apply the over the air 3DS update to your console. Each and every time an update like this comes out, that makes the r4 3ds unrecognizable, the team is quick to release a new kernel version which will once again enable the cards to be used on whatever version number the 3ds is currently running at.
