For 2012, buyers can choose the Land Rover LR2, the Land Rover LR4, the Land Rover Range Rover, the Land Rover Range Rover Sport, or the new Land Rover Range Rover Evoque.
The Land Rover LR2 will not undergo any changes of note for the 2012 model year while the Land Rover LR4 has some new standard and optional equipment for 2012. The only change on the L4's exterior is the addition of an option to purchase a new style of wheels. The standard audio system now is an upgraded 380-watt fourteen-speaker system. An 825-watt seventeen-speaker is available as option for those wishing to further upgrade the system. There are minor changes to the instrument panel, a new voice-activated system, a touchscreen interface, and an improvement of iPod integration, Bluetooth streaming, and audio file hard drive storage.
The 2012 Range Rover now will have the most luxurious new top trim, the Autobiography Ultimate Edition. This trim will be made by special order and is limited to a total run of 500. The other Range Rovers have some new exterior trim, a change in exterior color choices, and a better audio system which includes an iPod connection and high definition radio. There will also be a newly available tow package. The 2012 Range Rover Sport has new exterior color choices, revised wheel designs, a power tailgate, a newly revised instrument panel, an improved navigation system with voice-activated controls, an improved audio system, and Bluetooth.
The Land Rover Range Rover 2012 Evoque is a completely new vehicle. It comes with numerous top of the line features and available options. This all-wheel-drive vehicle is available in two-door or four-door styles and has a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
