(prHWY.com) June 1, 2011 - Sheffield, United Kingdom -- SHEFFIELD, ENGLAND, JUNE 2, 2011 ResearchWritingCenter.com's essay contests bring out the best in our writers, and generate wonderful advice. The current competition is in full swing, but there is still time to get in on the fun and prizes. Submissions are welcome for several more weeks, until June 20, so if the prospect of being rewarded for useful ideas and lapidary prose appeals to our writers, now is the moment to act.
As a custom writing company, ResearchWritingCenter.com always looks for appropriate ways to keep things lively for the professionals who work with us. The previous essay contest we elicited a surprisingly vigorous competitive tendency among our writers, and we were swamped with terrific entries. Some essays focused on the intellectual gifts needed to succeed in freelancing, others addressed the practical aspects of organization that foster freelancing achievement.
We hope for the same sort of response to our new, even more challenging online event. This new essay contest asks for more specificity in the topic, and more substantive information in the content. It will therefore appeal to our more experienced writers around the globe. Entrants are asked to write on one of the following subjects:
1) "Useful Software for Freelance Writers"
2) "Time Management Tools for Freelance Writers"
3) "Useful Web Resources for Freelance Writers"
(The rules for this contest are available at the following URL:
http://www.facebook.com/researchwritingcenter)
ResearchWritingCenter.com expects to garner usable ideas to enlighten and assist our other writers in their efforts. This may require some in-depth research and assiduous thought. Of course, the competition requires the precision and perfection of style that we always ask of those working with us.
There is another important aspect to the contest; a social media phase of the judging process. A critical prerequisite for winning is the voting of colleagues, friends, family, and other readers for a particular finalist. This makes sense because we will be posting the winning essays for the edification of all our users. We want to ensure that they meet the needs of a wide range of website visitors, and reflect more than merely the tastes of ResearchWritingCenter.com management.
This is how the contest will work:wWriters, in what we hope will be huge numbers, will submit their original entries, of no more than 825 words, by June 20. We encourage early submission, to avoid delay on the website.
A panel of our senior editors and writers will select the finalist submissions. These finalist essays will be posted on the ResearchWritingCenter.com contest page. Anyone who visits the page can read all the submissions (
http://www.facebook.com/researchwritingcenter ).
Readers (consisting of other writers, and visitors to the site, which can include invited Facebook friends, and all registered users), will vote for their favorites. The winners will receive cash prizes ranging from 200 dollars for 1st prize, down to 50 dollars for 5th prize.
Each winner will also be instantly registered as a ResearchWritingCenter.com writer, exempt from any further skills verification. Some winners may be offered a position as a guest blogger on our webpage. Now, that is a job that can go proudly on anyone's resume/CV.
All our website visitors will benefit from the wise insights of their fellow professionals. Judging from the messages that we regularly receive from our writers, they are constantly developing innovative ways to solve freelancing problems. We encourage all our writers and others who have an interest in money, the applause of peers in our freelancing community, and the possibility of an ongoing job as blogger, to share the fruits of their experience.
Our entry box is filling, but we have plenty of room for more. We hope writers will heed the call and send their best efforts in soon. Fame and fortune wait!
