, a Bangalore based company, released Computer Based Test (CBT) software for administering computer based objective tests. The software is useful for subject matter experts, authors, HR companies, technical and non=-technical organizations, colleges and universities in administering computer based exams to students and/or candidates. The software is fully independent and an author can develop multiple question types and administer the exam on-line. The software works in off-line mode, and the content is secure and copyright of the author.
The software consists of two parts, one is that of author software and the other exam software. The author software is used for populating the database with questions, answers, explanations, etc. Each question may be given individual weightage, and there is option to choose classes, topics, and student profiles. The author, then exports the populated question DB to the exam engine, which is used for administering the exam.
