American Beverage Consortium Starts Reviewing Speakers
No speaker at any event can be allowed to speak on a subject, narrow or wide, unless the speaker, their topic content and their presentation(s) have been reviewed.
(prHWY.com) February 23, 2013 - New York City, NY -- Details for the 2013 chapter meetings are to be finalized in the near future. In fact, for any event, all speakers must be finalized, with their presentations approved well in advance of the speaking date. Recently, the American Beverage Consortium opened up applications for speakers at their chapter meetings. Now, they are reviewing the majority of speakers.

A panel judge for the American Beverage Consortium was questioned as to the importance of reviewing speakers. The judge stated, "It is crucial that we review every speaker that applies to speak at a chapter meeting. We never really know what topic a speaker will delve into and therefore, we must make sure that their talk will be of the right standard."

The judge further stated, "Furthermore, we need to ensure that it is not something that most people already know or do not want to know. We introduce new ideas about the beverage industry during these meetings. We also need leaders who have practically applied what they know, and are sharing that information in the form of beverage news."

A past speaker was also questioned as to the reviewing process. They stated, being accepted by the American Beverage Consortium, "Since I wanted to talk about dynamic changes in the beverage industry, and their practical implications, I had to go through a simple yet rigorous screening. I received confirmation well in advance and hence had enough time to prepare. Such screening is preferable for such meetings as it ensures that the attendants receive the best possible advice and knowledge."
