Kevin V. Cato Announces Promotion to New Position at Caterpillar and Continued Success

Cato to the position of Director of Supplier Development. This position is a change from what Kevin V. Cato had seen throughout his career yet he continues to make progress in his work and help Caterpillar to reach its goals.

Kevin V. Cato is proud to announce his continued success as the Director of Supplier Development at Caterpillar Inc. since his promotion to the position in 2010. He has been serving the company in this capacity for 2 years and has been demonstrating signs of progress and improvement.

Much of Kevin V. Cato's position involves meeting with and working with many of Caterpillar's suppliers from all over the globe. When suppliers are unable to meet Caterpillar's needs, Kevin V. Cato and his team are responsible for working with these suppliers to improve and develop their company so they can continue provide work and products that Caterpillar relies on to complete its business.

Before reaching this position, Kevin V. Cato worked in the Hydraulic and Hydraulic Systems department as an operations manager and later a general manager. This enabled him to gain a strong understanding of Caterpillar's suppliers and also to form relationships with many of the faces behind these suppliers. Caterpillar recognized this and in 2010 promoted him to his current position.
