Dallas, TX (prHWY.com) December 28, 2012 - Gene Phillips of Dallas County is proud to give back to the community in which he built his successful career. Since 1979, he lived and worked as a businessman and investor in Dallas, Texas. His investments include many businesses that span across the finance, real estate, and insurance industries.

Not only has he invested in numerous companies, but also he has held numerous executive positions since 1973. "By 1989, I was majority shareholder or was owner of 50 companies and more than 1,000 real estate properties," recalls Gene Phillips of Dallas County. The total worth of his assets equaled to more than $20 billion in 1989.

"While I enjoyed working as an investor and businessman, I also enjoyed attending the Dallas Grand Opera and symphony. I decided to show my support by donating to the cultural arts," says Gene Phillips of Dallas County. For many years now, Gene Phillips of Dallas County and his wife have attended the opera and given generous monetary donations. His involvement even went as far as being Dallas Grand Opera Director for a period of time.

Gene Phillips of Dallas County still donates to the cultural arts. But he also donates to a number of health organizations. There are three health organizations that he has donated to regularly. Gene Phillips of Dallas County regularly contributes to Nexus Recovery Center. "The center is designed to help teen girls and adult women addicted to drugs. What separates Nexus Recovery Center from other addiction clinics is the childcare provided. Women are invited to bring their children to their recovery," says Gene Phillips of Dallas County.

The other two health organizations that Gene Phillips of Dallas County supports are Kidney Texas, Inc., and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. He supports both organizations because it is the goal of many people to put an end of to kidney disease and breast cancer. Gene Phillips of Dallas County is honored to give to these organizations so that their research may save the lives of thousands. Gene Phillips of Dallas County's years of donations has given him a reputation of a successful businessman and community supporter.
