Sofia Sondervan Revisits Past Work History

While Sofia Sondervan has worked at her career as a film producer, she has held a number of titles and positions.

Denver, CO (prHWY.com) December 21, 2012 - Sofia Sondervan's career as a Producer was firmly established in 2001. Prior to the release of three films featuring her name as a producer, Sofia Sondervan had already been hard at work demonstrating her leadership skills and ambition to succeed in the film industry. In the earliest part of her career, she held the position of Director of Business Affairs for Miramax Films.
Working as Director of Business Affairs already demonstrated early in Sofia Sondervan's career that she has the leadership skills and ambition to grow her career. Indeed, Sofia Sondervan held other positions then her job at Miramax. She also held the position of Senior Vice President of Acquisitions for POP.com, which was created as a joint venture between DreamWorks SKG and Imagine Entertainment. She also was Head of Acquisitions for Cary Woods' Independent Pictures.

"Eventually I became Head of East Coast Production for ContentFilm," says Sofia Sondervan, "and it was through ContentFilm that I produced several movies." Indeed in 2001, Sofia Sondervan got her start as a feature film producer. Three movies were released with Sofia Sondervan's name in 2003. They were Party Monster starring Macaulay Culkin, Rick starring Bill Pullman, and Hebrew Hammer starring Adam Goldberg.

"It was wonderful to be producing films," says Sofia Sondervan. She was finally achieving her dream as a film producer and afterward she continued to work behind the scenes on more films. In 2005, The King was released through ThinkFilm, which Sofia Sondervan Executive Produced.
Her next film, released in 2007, was made and distributed through Sony Pictures, Columbia TriStar. This film was Feel the Noise and was produced in collaboration with Jennifer Lopez. However, it was the following year that Cadillac Records was released. Sofia Sondervan is a producer of this film and it was nominated for a Golden Globe and eight NAACP awards. The most recent film that Sofia Sondervan produced was Bringing Up Bobby starring Milla Jovovich was is released in October 2012
