Salt Lake City, CT (prHWY.com) December 21, 2012 - Salt Lake City, UT, December 21, 2012 -- Bigfoot's alleged presence in Utah has fueled Stitched Card's (www.stitchedcards.com) Jeni Shirley's mission to take him to New York City. That is, her Sasquatch Stitched Card represents part of the inspired collection the Utahn wants to showcase at the National Stationery Show in May. The young entrepreneur has turned to funding platform Kickstarter to launch a campaign with a goal of $7000, which must be reached in its entirety by January 5, 2013 to receive funding. The amount represents only a portion of the estimated cost to prepare and participate at the event.

Those interested in her products with their textural uniqueness can pledge and receive Stitched products while supporting this growing creative company via Kickstarter. With a financial pledge, backers get to choose from a variety of Jeni's card designs and new products. Pledges go toward the cost of outfitting and staffing a booth at the National Stationery Show.

Kickstarter is an all-or-nothing funding platform, so the goal must be met or she receives no funding, the backers are not charged, nor do they get the reward. Pledges are accepted at kck.st/SB7Fke. This is a chance for the public to get some of the new Stitched items, and in Kickstarter's words, "support the dream to create something you want to see exist in the world."

About Stitched Cards:
Started in 2006 as a hobby, Stitched Cards developed into a small greeting card business stoked by Jeni's passion for adding something unique to the world, including the infamous "Even Sasquatch Loves" card. The subtle heart on Sasquatch's chest reflects the inner potential for even a feared beast like a Bigfoot to love. This lighthearted tone is intended to inspire people to have fun and be thoughtful when selecting cards and gifts.

Jeni has learned people seek out truly distinctive cards like the ones she provides to boutique shops. Embroidered in her Salt Lake City workshop, each product is handmade and growth will provide local employment potential.
