Whitton Legal firm acquires Mylles and Co

Bill Turner became a partner in the mid 1940s and the practice changed its name to Bonnett Son & Turner Solicitors. In April 2012 the practice became Bonnetts Solicitors Ltd.

Berkshire, United Kingdom (prHWY.com) December 18, 2012 - Bonnetts, a legal firm in Whitton has acquired Mylles and Co in Sunninghill, Berks. This acquisition happened some time back in the last few months and and the merger is still in progress. Mylles and Co are a most effective law firm in Sunninghill and has a wide customer base there. It is no surprise that legal services giant Bonnetts with an age of 83 years decided to acquire the law firm.

A spokesperson for Bonnetts said "We saw how great Mylles and Co was doing despite being such a young firm. The main idea behind the acquisition is that we want to provide it the resources that a law firm that is properly established in the sector can provide and they can provide us with fresh blood and allow us to serve in a region which was earlier quite remote to us. Think of this of as a more profitable co-existence rather than an acquisition."

Mylles and Co will continue advising clients under the latest review of criminal case commission but now it will fly under the banner of Bonnetts Solicitors. This is however not the first time that Bonnetts has acquired a law firm. Neither will it be the first time it has been a successful strategy. Earlier on it had acquired Lane Heardman Solicitors in Hounslow, Christopher Court Solicitors in Ashford, Mountford & Co. Solicitors in Whitton where it now maintains offices in various parts. Bonnetts has been growing as a legal firm in terms of providing great legal advice to clients. It seems to be getting its strengths from harvesting good law firms and integrating them into its folds.

In 1929 Colonel Claude Herbert Dick Bonnett started practising law as C H D Bonnett from a London Inn. In the 1930s the practice relocated to Hounslow and shortly after Colonel Bonnett's son, Anthony, joined the practice. Bill Turner became a partner in the mid 1940s and the practice changed its name to Bonnett Son & Turner Solicitors. In April 2012 the practice became Bonnetts Solicitors Ltd.
