New Jersey's Clean Energy Program actively works with manufacturers and retailers to increase the availability and use of ENERGY STAR qualified products in New Jersey to help residents save money, reduce energy use, and protect the environment.

Philadelphia, NJ (prHWY.com) December 12, 2012 - New Jersey's Clean Energy Program is a statewide program that offers financial incentives, programs, and services for New Jersey residents, business owners, and local governments to help them save energy, money and the environment. New Jersey's Clean Energy Program actively works with manufacturers and retailers to increase the availability and use of ENERGY STAR qualified products in New Jersey to help residents save money, reduce energy use, and protect the environment. As part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities has received approval from the federal government to offer New Jersey residents additional incentives on ENERGY STAR qualified appliances.

New Jersey has put rebates in place for Cooladvantage and Warmadvantage. These rebates are for energy efficient heating and cooling equipment such as central air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, boilers or water heaters. As members of the program, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities has received support from the federal government to offer New Jersey residents extra encouragements on high efficiency heating and cooling supplies. For those that don't know ENERGY STAR products, they must meet energy-efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Energy (DOE). State-of-the-art components, such as highly effective compressors and electronic sensors, give products that have earned the ENERGY STAR many advantages compared to older models.
