Design Moe Kitchen & Bath of downtown Escondido is pleased to welcome Bonnie Bagley Catlin, Certified Interior Designer, to the Design Moe design team.

Escondido, CA (prHWY.com) December 7, 2012 - Escondido, CA, November 28, 2012 -- Design Moe Kitchen & Bath of downtown Escondido is pleased to welcome Bonnie Bagley Catlin, Certified Interior Designer, to the Design Moe design team. Bonnie is known for her award-winning projects. She has been published in San Diego Magazine, Riviera Magazine, Kitchens Magazine, Williams Sonoma's Cultivate.com, and in the "Home" section of the UT San Diego 2012.

A Portland native, Bonnie earned her Interior Design Degree in Oregon and started her career at the well-known design/build firm Neil Kelly. She went independent in 2004, quickly earning local prominence as Featured Studio Designer for the Seattle Design Center. Just 2 years ago, a position with local firm Jackson Design and Remodeling brought Bonnie and her husband south to San Diego. "Bonnie's recent San Diego Design-Build experience is a real asset," said Design Moe's Owner/Partner Heather Moe, "and we're excited to bring her on board. Her knowledge of fabrics, furniture, and fixtures means that we can now offer our clients a more complete interior design service."

Despite her impressive resume, Bonnie is perhaps most proud of her recent Certified Interior Designer (CID) qualification. "It took a lot of studying," she said, "and it was a tough test." Bonnie described the preparation: "We're reading codebooks, and memorizing manuals, and learning the ins-and-outs of Title -24 and Cal-Green. After all the hard work, I've come out of it with a better knowledge of California regulations." Besides now being a Certified.

Interior Designer, Bonnie is also a member of both the American Society of Interior Designers and the National Kitchen and Bath Association, and she is active in community service projects for the Junior League, the Salvation Army, and Angel Helper.

Bonnie and her husband Ron, an Former-LA Rams Football player, live in a garden home on a quiet Scripps Ranch cul-de-sac. They like to work out together early in the mornings and they enjoy discovering San Diego's many excellent restaurants. Bonnie's daughter attends Western Washington University, and her son lives in Vancouver, Washington.
