Eric Ochocki has created a number of sculptures that he has given titles to. One of his more recent sculpture creations is "Squabble." This piece of work was admitted by Eric Ochocki for the Marin Artist Society's Art Show in 2011. He piece was submitted for the "Open Fine Arts" Show, which took place between July 10 and August 6, 2011.
"Squabble" took third place during the art show and Eric Ochocki was very proud that his piece placed in the top three. "When you look at 'Squabble,' it is easy to see where the inspiration came from," says Eric Ochocki, "the piece features many symbols like the star, pound sign, and the question mark; the symbols you find when you 're on your phone." And like Eric Ochocki's other pieces, "Squabble" is made from the medium wood. In addition to wood, "Squabble's" coating is made from rubberized lacquer giving the piece a dark, uniformed look.
Eric Ochocki enjoys sculpture as a past time. While he is a working professional, much of his free time is spent working on finishing or creating a sculpture. Eric Ochocki is proud of his works of art; he even created a website to showcase his sculptures at saatchionline.com/eo1974. The site features two of his past pieces entitled "Confession" and "Martyr." On the site, Eric Ochocki admits that much of his art is inspired by "religion, commerce and convenience."
