Sexual Dysfunction are a group of sexual problems that are not gender exclusive, meaning, these sexual problems do not only occur in men but among women as well.

Erectile Dysfunction. This condition is otherwise referred to as ED. It refers to the inability to achieve or maintain sufficient erection before and throughout the course of sexual intercourse.
Orgasmic Disorders. The condition primarily involves the inability of an individual to achieve an orgasm or reach sexual climax during sexual activity engagement.
The 4 types of sexual dysfunctions among women may include the following:
Decrease Libido. This is condition is the same with the decreased libido among males.
Sexual Arousal Disorder. This problem focuses primarily on the difficulty or the inability of a woman to become aroused before or maintain sexual arousal during the course of sexual intercourse. Desire for sexual activity, however, may remain intact.
Sexual Pain Disorder. The pain experienced by the woman may include during vaginal penetration or clitoral stimulaton.
Are sexual dysfunctions treatable?
Treatment for these sexual problems would greatly depend on the causes behind them. Sexual problems caused by medical conditions that are treatable or reversible can be managed well through medication or surgery. Physical therapy is also found to help in some of these problems. Kegel exercises are helpful in orgasmic problem among women.
