Pivotal Motion Physiotherapy gets behind Movember to advocate men's health

In 2011 over AUD 124 million was raised, an amazing effort that Pivotal Motion Physiotherapy is only too happy to contribute to.

Newmarket, Australia (prHWY.com) November 13, 2012 - Brisbane - October 31st, 2012. Three professionals from Pivotal Motion Physiotherapy in Brisbane are excited to take part in what has now become a global event - Movember. This annual tradition will see thousands of men grow their moustaches throughout the month of November, to raise awareness about men's health; specifically prostate cancer and mental health.

The men participating from Pivotal Motion Physiotherapy include Scott Greenbank (Podiatrist with QLD Orthotics ), Luke Van Every (Shoulder specialist), and Luke Heales (Physiotherapist). These health professionals have formed a team called 'Pivotal Mo-tion' registered at movember.com and have acquired some 'Mo Sistas' along the way (also from Pivotal Motion Physiotherapy).

Movember actually began in Melbourne, Australia, and has since had a global affect with countries such as New Zealand, the US, Canada, the UK, South Africa and Ireland all taking part in the annual event. Funds raised in Australia all go towards programs run by Movember, as well as their two partners - the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and Beyond Blue. These programs are dedicated to the global initiative of awareness, education, research and survivorship.
