Weinheim, Germany (prHWY.com) November 13, 2012 - "Great content is not just present to be shared, it must also be supported", commented Flattr co-founder Linus Olsson with regard to the latest collaboration with the ekaabo service Spreadly. Flattr, the button for micro-donations, from Malmo in Sweden, is now integrated in the Spreadly social sharing button. Anyone sharing content can directly support or "flattr" the creators of that content with a small donation.

Readers can flattr contents they like by clicking the Flattr F button. Every time they flattr, a small donation goes to the author. Flattr members can choose the amount they want to donate per month, and depending on how often they flattr, the appropriate amount is distributed amongst the sites providing the contents. On the German market, Flattr is the largest micro-payment provider, "perhaps because the German market is suits us best," Linus Olsson is happy to say.

"We are already very excited to see that most contributions are made via Spreadly" says Marco Ripanti, CEO and founder of ekaabo GmbH "Our cooperation with Flattr is absolutely logical. If someone likes contents and takes the time to comment on it and share it, they are also inclined to reward their favourite content with a donation and thus demonstrate their appreciation," says Marco Ripanti on the partnership with the Swedish service Flattr.

The Spreadly button can be installed on any web page, enabling the sharing of contents. A click on the button shares the contents with their own networks contacts in social networks such as Facebook, Xing and LinkedIn, through Twitter messaging, via Tumblr blog and now by flattring it through Flattr. Spreadly users can decide at their discretion which networks are fed with the contents.
