Mexico, Mexico (prHWY.com) November 8, 2012 - As a direct result of the consistent and ongoing effort to improve the competitiveness of the country, Mexico's ranking in the Index of Ease of Doing Business 2013 rose by five up to a ranking of 48 from a potential total of 185 other countries. This is the fourth consecutive rise in ranking for Mexico, which is evidence of how effective the Ministry of Economy's efforts are in stimulating business growth.

Mexico 26 October, 2012 - The vision of the Mexican Ministry of Economy is to promote business growth right across the country. This drive is designed to actively create more jobs and stimulate the economy at the same time.

Through multiple ongoing projects, the Ministry of Economy works to assist small, medium and large businesses to improve business outlooks and to achieve sustainable growth. Specialists within the department work with businesses in the fields of economic development, technology, entrepreneurship and statistical research.

Where possible, the department also actively assists Mexican businesses to improve their level of competitiveness. This has allowed many businesses to expand into foreign markets to boost exports, which has been integral to much business growth.
