Orbital welding, gas delivery systems and gas panels are just some of the things Axenics excels at
Axenics (Axenics.com), a leading component manufacturing and contract manufacturing company for medical OEM, semiconductor OEM and other original equipment companies,is a leading expert in the areas of Orbital welding, gas delivery systems.

"Orbital welding and gas delivery systems go hand in hand," said Haywood Schmidt, CEO of Axenics. "Many of the gases these systems deliver are critical to the production process. Many are also very corrosive and could jeopardize worker safety if even small leaks occur."
Clean, contaminant-free welds are necessary to deliver pure gases for semi-conductor manufacturing and other processes where even microscopic particles from a contaminated weld can ruin expensive gases and components during production. To prevent these problems, Axenics employs orbital welding throughout gas delivery systems. Unlike hand welding, the orbital welder moves around the outside of the pipe while the pipe remains stationary. The outside of the weld area is purged with argon to remove oxygen. At the same time, the inside of the pipe is also purged with argon. A computer-controlled pulsed weld is then applied as the tungsten weld electrode travels around the pipe. All of this ensures that the weld will be precise, contaminant and leak free.
