Vancouver Plumbing Group Sponsors Rhythm of Life 2012

Vancouver, Canada (prHWY.com) October 25, 2012 - Vancouver, BC (September 20, 2012) - Milani Plumbing, Drainage & Heating is announcing their sponsorship of the 2012 Rhythm of Life. Recipient of a 2011 Consumer Choice award, this Vancouver plumbing group participated in this event for the benefit of the Burnaby Hospital Foundation.

The Burnaby Hospital Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Burnaby Hospital. The facility takes care of close to 200,000 patients each year, ranging from simple diagnostic and medical procedures to important life-saving surgeries. Performing such procedures requires the latest and most advanced equipment available.

Among the equipment sought for are a portable X-ray unit, an adult ventilator, and a defibrillator. To generate funds and support for their most urgent equipment needs, the Burnaby Hospital Foundation holds a yearly community fundraiser since called The Rhythm of Life. The event celebrates its 14th year with a renewal of Burnaby Hospital Foundation's pledge to optimum community health care.

For this year, the Foundation sets a goal of $2.6 million. Since the start of the event on September 9, 2012, the Rhythm of Life raises $52,000 for the Healthy Heart Program and an adult ventilator for the hospital. As part of its community service, Vancouver plumbing firm Milani Plumbing, Drainage & Heating sponsored the event with other leading companies.
