Litigation firm's name change is effective March 31, 2011

San Francisco, CA (prHWY.com) March 31, 2011 - Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold LLP announces that effective today its name has changed to Sedgwick LLP. Sedgwick, founded in 1933, solidified its reputation as a trial and litigation firm in the 1930s and 1940s. The current name of Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold LLP was adopted in 1959. The legal name change is part of the firm's strategic plan to promote its position as one of the top national trial firms. The firm was originally established by founders Wallace Sedgwick, Gunther Detert, Ed Moran and Bud Arnold, who were known as four of the country's premier trial attorneys. In addition to the name change, Sedgwick's web and email addresses will change from sdma.com to sedgwicklaw.com.
