Carrera fuels "Jump into the sun with Carrera 6000" campaign with Ubiquitous taxi advertising
Carrera turns to iconic London taxis for vintage design collection

400 taxis with SuperSide adverts depicting the new sunglasses will run as part of the brand's wider 'Jump into the Sun' campaign across London, where Carrera is aiming to attract the attention of cosmopolitan Londoners and international visitors who will be in the capital this summer.
To further propel the campaign, all drivers of the taxi fleet have been briefed about the Carrera brand and the new Carrera 6000 model, so they are able to answer any questions that passengers might have, including information about where the glasses can be purchased. In addition, any receipts issued for passengers will also feature Carrera branding.
By working with Ubiquitous CARRERA is able to link the very essence of the brand by promoting it on one of London's most iconic symbols - the black taxi. The fleet of Carrera branded taxis will reach a broad audience, while simultaneously providing an individual experience; a perfect fit for our 'Jump into the Sun' campaign which will also include Bus advertising as well as an extensive social media campaign.
Created using Optyl, a non-allergenic, heat-resistant material and registered trademark of Safilo, that creates a durable, lightweight and extremely comfortable product. The Carrera 6000 is a unisex model available in 14 different colour variants with an innovative soft touch effect and original, highly distinctive wavy sides. The sunglasses are available in major retail outlets across UK & Ireland.
