Pandora dazzles on British streets with Ubiquitous taxi advertising campaign
Pandora decorates the iconic black taxi with new sterling silver birthstone rings

The use of taxi advertising in particular will help Pandora to reach consumers right across city centres, in heavy footfall areas where no other media is present, with the specific aim of driving footfall to Pandora's 92 stores, located in major shopping areas around the country. The campaign, featuring an array of the beautiful new rings on Superside Liveries, aims to primarily engage with its 18 - 49 year old target audience.
170 of the taxis will be based in the London area, and will look to capitalise on the expected boom in tourism, as the Olympic Games period approaches. Additional Pandora-branded taxis will also be seen on roads in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool and Manchester.
Peter Andersen, President, Pandora Western Europe, commented "Taxi advertising is a prominent part of the multichannel campaign we are running to promote our latest birthstone ring range. Black taxis are a fantastic platform for our brand, both because of their attention grabbing, iconic nature and the way they constantly interact with consumers within an urban landscape. In this way, our beautiful taxi creative will be key in driving intrigue and footfall into our stores."
Andrew Barnett, Managing Director, Ubiquitous added: "Taxi advertising plays a crucial role when used as part of a multichannel campaign, as it is a constant message reminder that reaches consumers as they are in the high street. Pandora's wider marketing campaign will majorly benefit from taxis in this respect, with branded cabs being actively looked for across some of the UK's most prominent city centres."
