Harlem and New York's elite sports community prepare for the Inaugural Reception and Fundraiser for Youth On The Move In The Community, Inc. Show your support alongside celebrated athletes Walt Frazier and Carl Banks

New York, NY (prHWY.com) September 20, 2012 - New York, NY, US, September 11, 2012 -- Harlem and New York's elite sports community prepare for the Inaugural Reception and Fundraiser for Youth On The Move In The Community, Inc. Show your support alongside celebrated athletes Walt Frazier and Carl Banks at the Youth On The Move 1st annual fundraiser, coming to Harlem, New York on Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Activities will include a reception and silent auction. We need an "assist" from you to improve health and activity outcomes in the community through research, advocacy, outreach and fundraising programs.

The Youth On The Move Reception and Fundraiser invites the entire Harlem community to get out, get moving, and give back in an atmosphere of health and wellness for kids ages 6 to 18. Since the program's inception, the need in the community for YOTM has grown, and organizers continue to work to provide a safe playing environment, promote health and wellness through organized sports and healthy living, promote cultural exchange, and provide a safe haven against drug and gang violence.

The organization's Board consists of a stellar roster committed to the members and goals:
Carl Banks: Former NFL All-Star;
Walt Frazier: Former New York Knick;
William Hunter: NBA Players Association Executive Director;
Gary Lampley: Visiting Lecturer, Howard University;

League Mid-Atlantic Champions, 2002 Little League World Series;
