Evergram Launch Marks the Beginning of Meaningful Social Video
Evergram is an online keepsake album of personal video, audio, and text messages;created by friends & family; and delivered on special occasions.

When Duncan Seay was first diagnosed with a malignant melanoma in December of 2010, neither he nor his business partner and cofounder, Jeff Caden, could have predicted that a business based on "future messaging" and "keepsake communications" would result. Although Caden and Seay's initial concept was to send messages to loved ones to be delivered after one's death, this idea quickly morphed into a solution firmly embedded in human connection and life events, a solution that the founders believe can profoundly change the way our society uses social media, and social video, in particular.
Evergram allows people to easily create and send meaningful keepsake communications into the future - to the people they care most about. When video, text or audio messages are sent for future delivery, whether hours, days or even years later, the degree of thoughtfulness usually increases. This is a phenomenon often experienced in letter writing, and one that the Evergram team has integrated into the user's experience.
Seay, Evergram's CEO, adds that "Evergram's mission is to empower people to send messages into the future and to change lives; enabling a deeper connection with friends and family, a greater personal well-being, and a world with less misunderstanding and greater compassion."
This intention of creating "keepsake communications" is evident in the Company's initial beta service, a wedding website (www.evergram.com) which is launching at TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2012. An accompanying iPhone app is scheduled to join the desktop application in October, 2012, and the current service will be upgraded to include all types of occasions this Fall.
Evergram's beta platform automatically collects all of the personal video, audio, and text wedding wishes created by friends and family, and presents them in a beautiful, easy-to-use digital album, delivered on the wedding day, and enjoyed by the couple for many years to come. Evergram believes that by fostering the creation of meaningful communications; many of the activation and engagement issues confronting other social video platforms will be addressed, and the value of the delivered content will be greatly enhanced for Evergram recipients.
Evergram was founded in 2011 by Duncan Seay, Jeff Caden, and Chris Halim. The Company is based in San Francisco.
