San Diego, FL (prHWY.com) August 27, 2012 - Award winning San Diego artist and muralist Virginia Ann Holt today introduces new poppy paintings of her usually brilliant acrylic paintings which are now available on mugs, and are scheduled to be displayed at an upcoming poppy art show gallery.

Now that she is out of the studio where she had been for months producing these new poppy paintings, Virginia can breathe a sigh of relief that her new born creations did indeed come from her labor of love.

Known for her wide range of whimsical blending of colors to an almost perfect photo like quality, Virginia, when asked if her pieces of art were in fact photos or maybe paintings of photos, she gives an emphatic "Nope!"

"These paintings are all straight from my heart," she adds with an intriguingly wry smile. Noting that it all started from her being commissioned to produce a giant poppy painting for a private art collector who is an investor in fine art, Virginia says she "loved the project so much", she's never stopped painting poppies ever since.

San Diego residents who love nature, flowers and poppy paintings in particular, have over time come to know Virginia Ann Holt, not only as the owner of Visions in Faux, but the one and only faux finisher artist who has a most delicate sense for nature. According to them, Virginia has the most delicate way of bringing out the pure essences of beauty in nature through her fine artwork and paintings.

Her new poppy paintings on collectable mugs are on display on her new fine art shopping web page. Visit http://virginiaannholt.com/products/collectable-mugs
