THE INNOCENT ROCKFORD THREE "A Case to Be Kept Hidden"

Rockford, IL (prHWY.com) August 2, 2012 - Tyjuan Anderson, Lumont Johnson, and Anthony Ross were convicted and sentenced to 50 years each in the April 14, 2002 shooting death of 8 year old Demarcus Hanson as he slept. There was no physical evidence linking them to the crime; in fact, there was clear evidence that they were frame by way of the orders of the hierarchy of the Rockford Police Department of Rockford Illinois.

This exonerating evidence was provided by former detective Douglas Palmer who was the co-lead detective in the murder investigation. Steven A. Greenberg one of the defense attorneys in the high-profile Drew Peterson case and has also made appearances on networks such as MSNBC and FOX news quoted in an phone interview with the Rockford Register Star saying "In 25 years, I have never been involved in a case where the officer involved in the case comes forward like (Palmer) has in this case." Greenberg is one of Tyjuan Anderson's attorneys. http://www.rrstar.com/news/x2111992805/In-Sundays-paper-3-convicted-of-boys-death-file-to-reopen-case. Detective Palmer gave testimony in open court admitting to participating in a grand scheme to frame these men despite inquires which lead to two other suspects Casell Montgomery and Kefense Taylor. Immediately after Detective Palmer gave his testimony on July 19, 2011 Deputy Chief of Investigations Greg Lindmark retires August 5, 2011. http://blogs.e-rockford.com/jeffkolkey/2011/08/05/deputy-chief-greg-lindmark-retires-today/.

A trove of recently discovered audio tapes is the "blockbuster" evidence that can perhaps set the Rockford 3 free. They include startling admissions between star witness Alex Dowthard and his friends and family. Included in these admissions were that Alex Dowthard was nowhere around the scene of the crime. http://www.rrstar.com/news/x1234469469/3-convicted-in-DeMarcus-Hansons-death-say-tapes-prove-their-case. Judge McGraw has recently admitted these tapes into evidence. http://www.rrstar.com/news/x1106455072/Judge-audiotapes-admissible-in-DeMarcus-Hanson-case. This is a case that is embarrassing to the Rockford Police Department and other officials that were involved in this great scandal just to secure a conviction for this heinous crime. A case that was buried in lies, but is now being excavated by hard truths. Why are they trying to keep a case of such magnitude and admission quiet and on a local level? We are aiming to get this case out to major networks for national attention, and to shed light on such conspiracy and corruption .The next crucial court date is on Aug 17, 2012. CONCLUDED
