Dubai Shopping Malls Group Announced the Winners of the First DSS Raffle Draw

20 leading malls offer a chance to win prizes worth three million dirhams. Saudi national won the Weekly Mega Prize of AED 500,000 in cash and gift vouchers.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (prHWY.com) June 25, 2012 - Dubai, June 23, 2012: The Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG), the umbrella organization of malls in Dubai announced the winners of the Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 'Shop the World and Win Millions' raffle promotion. The draw was held on Thursday, 21st June at Ibn Battuta Mall, one of the 20 malls participating in the promotion.

The promotion which began on June 14th will continue until July 14th, offering shoppers a chance to win prizes worth three million dirhams. Additionally, shoppers who purchase using MasterCard have chances of winning Emirates Airline Tickets as part of the DSMG, DSS promotion. Shoppers can avail the raffle coupons upon spending AED 200 at any of the participating malls. Organized by DSMG, the grand promotion runs across various malls such as Al Ain Centre, Al Ghurair Centre, Al Manal Centre, Al Mulla Plaza, Arabian Center, Burjuman Centre, Century Mall, Deira City Centre, Dubai Outlet Mall, Hamarain Centre, Ibn Battuta Mall, Lamcy Plaza, Mall of the Emirates, Mirdiff City Centre, Oasis Center, Palm Strip, Reef Mall, Sunset Mall, Times Square Center and Twin Towers.

Amongst the winners were Mr.Abdulla Yosef, a Saudi national who won half a million dirhams and an Indian national called Ms. Veena Jitender who had an opportunity to win fifty thousand dirhams. She expressed her excitement saying, "I am so thrilled. I feel so fortunate and this win will always remain special to me. I am going to put the winning money in the name of my child to secure his future."

Ms.Shireen Safwat, an Egyptian national who had an opportunity to win fifty thousand dirhams and the Emirates Airline Ticket from MasterCard was stunned. She said, "I am surprised by my win. My joy knows no bounds. I think I am very lucky to have won two prizes."
