Makita, one of the world's largest power tool manufacturers, are celebrating 40 years since the opening of their first UK based operation.

Established in 1915 in Nargoya, Japan, Makita have come a long way since their beginnings and now have stores and representation in 150 countries. Makita began their UK involvement with offices based in Luton. The company continued to grow at an extreme rate and after a 10 year UK presence, they moved to purpose built offices in Milton Keynes.
