How to solve the R4i 3DS flashcard cheats problem

Here is the problem.I bought a r4 sdhc rts lite silver 3DS flashcart for my 3DS. my 3DS system is V3.0.0-6.

I download all the files, firmware, game roms, i can play games on it, so it is working, But the question is the other features can not work on it, such as real time save, cheat features, soft reset, etc. Actually i have read the guide for many times, and i also tried, but still no luck about the cheat feature, from d/l usrcheats.dat, to creating my own using the code manager, and cheat code editor, all of them are not working at all. what can i do to use those features, or my r4i sdhc flashcart can not work on it?

Well, actually, the r4i sdhc rts flashcard can do those things such as cheat and other features. Here is something you need to check at first, please check your globalsettings.ini file and confirm it has been directed properly to your usrcheat.dat file. Take care of the spell and make sure the letters are all correct. Usually you can solve the problem by that method, because most users just put the cheat files in the root of the sd card which is not the correct address. they should put the files in the "cheats" folder, the "cheats" folder is inside of the "SYSTEM" folder, the "system" folder is in the firmware of your sd card. this is the correct address.
So download the firmware and the globalsettings.ini file of the r4i sdhc 3ds flashcart, make sure the globalsettings.ini file is located in your "SYSTEM" folder which is at the root of your SD card. So it means cheatsDB = fat1:/SYSTEM/cheats/ENG.dat. If the usrcheat.dat is not the latest version, just rename the ENG.dat to usrcheat.dat.

How to do it, just open your "SYSTEM"folder, double click the globalsettings.ini file, rename it exactly what i said, if you put the files in the correct folder, point to the correct name, the cheat will work, it's a little complicated, but just follow it step by step, hope it works for you.
