NBA Star Returns To South Florida To Host 2nd Annual Basketball Skills Clinic
Brandon Knight To Host 2nd Annual Basketball Skills Clinic in South Florida.

NBA Star Brandon Knight is adamant about providing South Florida kids, ages 7 to 17 years old, with an annual clinic, as a tool to develop core strength, ball handling, defense, shooting, passing and one-on-one skills. Knight believes attending basketball clinics growing up assisted in preparing him for success at Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale, the University of Kentucky, and now the Detroit Pistons, where he was named to the NBA's All-Rookie First Team.
On Saturday, June 30, 2012 and July 1, 2012, Knight will return to Pine Crest, along with Professional Trainers, Keith "Shot Doc" Veney and Johnny Flemming to host the 2nd Annual Brandon Knight Skills Clinic. Local area coaches and special guests will also be on hand to work with the athletes.
The two-day skills clinic, sponsored by Adidas, Powerade, Subway, Papa Johns, and Duece, will commence at 10:00 AM and conclude at 4:00PM on both days. Pine Crest School is located at 1501 Northeast 62nd St in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Registration is currently open on BRANDONEKNIGHT.COM and the admission cost is $150. Each player will receive a special swag bag from Adidas, plus have the chance to win extra gifts. In addition, anyone who registers by Wednesday, May 30th will receive another special gift.
Knight emphasized, "It takes hard work to be good and even more hard work to be great. Coming up, my work at clinics with coaches and other players helped me improve. I was always able to take something away from the camp to use in my games and even in my workouts. I just want to give that opportunity to local players in my hometown."
