Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) May 26, 2012 - Selling a home in a down economy is tough stuff. People are literally giving away everything, including the kitchen sink in an effort to sell a home, but an up and coming real estate marketing firm has a new idea on how it can help its clients sell their homes - 3D virtual home tours.

"When we asked our clients why they picked some of our homes they said it was because they were able to experience what it was like inside the home", said CEO of Realistic Home Tours, Todd Allen. "This posed the question of how many times could we sell a home if we were able to bring the experience to others who didn't live in the area, and hence our business was born."

Realistic Home Tours utilizes an advanced 3D technology to film and photograph the home and its rooms. This patented technology allows graphic designers and computer programmers to form a three dimensional representation of the home and the rooms. This 3D representation can then be broadcast in a virtual room, where potential home buyers can walk through each of the rooms no matter where they are in the world.

"We are trying to appeal to a global market", explained Allen. "Allowing people to tour the homes without having to travel to the location, opens up a lot of doors for us and our clients. It's just amazing."

One of the unique features of this home marketing concept is that potential buyers can customize the house to their liking while on a tour. For example, if a client prefers vintage 1950s décor they can see what the house would look like with that décor by just pushing a button.

"The ability to customize the home buying experience is really turning out to be to our advantage", said Allen. "People want to associate and connect with the home that they are buying, not just walk through an empty space. This program allows them to do just that no matter where they live."

Realistic Home Tours has only been around for four months, but its success rate is amazing. In the past four months, they have sold over 50% of the homes that have been put on the market within 30 days of being advertised. Many of those homes went for above asking price.

"Our customers are happy", said Allen. "Our clients are happy, I'm happy. Thank God for technology. It's it great!"
