The Staff Virtual Manifesto:
1. Work as a family. You are around your co-workers as much as family, so treat them like family, because we are.
2. Live and work with integrity. In ethics, integrity is regarded as the honesty and truthfulness or accuracy of one's actions. Integrity is a displayed through consistent actions, values and outcomes.
3. Work hard because there is no substitute for hard work. Nothing will work unless you do.
4. Live with character. Character is what we do when no one else is looking. It is also revealed in how we react to adversity.
5. Be selective with whom you surround yourself with. You are the average of the five people you hang out with the most, so choose them wisely.
6. Be direct and honest in your communication. Do not be afraid to tell people bad news. The sooner we can react to situations, the faster we can resolve the challenge.
7. Be entanglement-free. If you want to fly, you have to let go of the things or people that hold you down.
8. Reduce, reuse, and recycle. We only have one planet.
9. Work with courage. Embrace doing things that scare you. You cannot grow unless you push yourself and get out of your comfort zone. Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.
10. Be proactive and avoid procrastination. Procrastination is opportunity's assassin.
11. Elevate yourself above negative energy and reject the crab mentality. The best way to deal with haters is to act like they don't exist.
12. Avoid office gossip, it only leads to drama and conflict.
13. Listen intently, then ask strategic questions.
14. Serve others. Whenever possible, help your co-workers whom are in need. Simply treat them as you would want them to help you when you are in need.
15. Set goals. Write down your short and long-term goals on a piece of paper.
16. Keep a journal. Write down your thoughts, challenges, victories and reflect on them later to monitor your progress in life and at work.
17. Prioritize what is most important. That which matters the most should never give way to that which matters the least.
18. Avoid stress through proactive healthy living practices. Stress is related to 99% of all illness.
19. Exercise regularly. Just 30 mins of exercise three times a week can drastically reduce stress and risk of disease, it will also keep you mentally sharp.
20. Stay hydrated, drink plenty of water.
21. The world belongs to energetic people who can keep adapt to change. Do not wait to improve yourself, practice ongoing personal development now!
22. Stay focused forward! Do not dwell on the past, instead focus on your future, because that is where you will be spending the rest of your life.
23. Put customers first. Strive to make customers happy and exceed their expectations. It takes years to find a customer but only seconds to lose them.
24. Be thankful for what you have, but always strive for more. If you want to feel rich, count all the things you have that money can't buy.
25. Take a multi-vitamin once a day. A small mineral deficiency may be preventing your from achieving optimal health.
26. Guard your thoughts as they become your words. Choose your words carefully as they become actions. Be selective with your actions because they produce your character, and your character defines your destiny.
27. Expect greatness and you will attract it!
28. Be compassionate. Compassion is the most powerful form of human emotion.
29. Choose to have a great attitude. Attitudes are contagious so spread the fever in the work place.
30. Never miss an opportunity that will only come once in your life.
31. Travel as much as possible to expand your mind and better understand the world.
32. Learn to thrive under pressure. You must not only learn to live with tension, you must seek it out.
33. In your thoughts and words, practice daily affirmations. Replace the words "wish", "should" and "try", with "I WILL!"
34. Share your ideas. Creativity and innovation make us better. If you have a better way of doing something, write it down or tell someone.
35. Strive for excellence and reject a mediocre existence. Mediocrity is as close to the bottom as it is to the top.
36. Look for the best in others. Under a microscope, we all have our shortcomings.
37. Live by the Golden Rule, "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". It applies anywhere and everywhere.
38. Find reasons to be victorious versus using excuses to not succeed.
39. Forgive others and yourself. Holding a grudge is letting someone live rent free in your head.
40. Apologize sincerely. Value your relationships more than your ego. The definition of a true apology is recognizing your wrong action, saying sorry, learning from the mistake and not repeating it again.
41. Communicate honestly and authentically at all times. Avoid lying, and even white lies. Trust is the emotional glue that holds every family and company together.
42. Go above and beyond. Give people more than they expect. Remember, life begins when you do something for someone who can never repay you.
43. Build your destiny! Create the future you deserve with hard work and determination, and don't let anything stand in your way!
44. Be a humble student. Even when it applies to your expertise, be willing to be humble and study others.
45. Dream big! All humans are either motivated by fear or dreams.
46. You have a date with destiny, don't be late!
47. Be the example! At work, set the example by following this Manifesto, it will start a chain reaction that will make our company, family, community, and nation better!
