This exciting opportunity is only available in the spring, summer and early fall. Springtime is perfect for river rafting, which is one of the best ways to experience the canyon's splendor.

There are three trips available; the Absolute Canyon Adventure, the Canyon River Adventure, and the Colorado River Smooth-water Float Trip. Each of these trips is a full day activity that includes lunch. They are only available mid-March through October, and each fills up quickly. The Absolute Canyon Adventure begins with a jeep ride descending into the canyon, where travelers will embark on a 40 mile white water rafting journey. Rafters will experience up to level 7 rapids (3.5 on the North American scale), a moderate adventure. Travelers will stop at two beaches, with a short walk to Travertine
Falls. A deli style lunch is served at one of the stops along the river. At the end of the trip, a helicopter will lift passengers to the rim, for transportation back to the starting point.
Travelers on the Colorado River Adventure will begin their day by departing from the Grand Canyon airport and flying over the Grand Canyon, Colorado River, and
Lake Powell. Then they will land in Page to enjoy a fresh breakfast. From there, a jeep tour will transport travelers to Antelope Canyon on the Navajo Reservation, where they will embark on a relaxing float down the smooth waters of the Colorado River in Glen Canyon. Travelers will enjoy a chance to view petroglyphs, and will be provided a bistro box lunch.
The Colorado River Smooth-water Float Trip begins with a bus or motor coach tour with views of the Grand Canyon, Navajo Nation, and the Painted Desert. After arrival at the river, the rafters will embark on a 15.5 mile float trip down the Colorado River. After a short hike off the bank of the river to explore petroglyphs, a picnic style lunch will be served. To conclude the trip, transportation will be provided back via motor coach.
