The FGS SPL sites along with repair sites (Memphis, Manchester, Budapest, Toronto, and Singapore), have also been actively engaged with Flextronics Computing on vertical integration opportunities supporting its ODM offerings.

Kilbarry Industrial Park, United Kingdom (prHWY.com) May 15, 2012 - Service Parts Logistics, a business unit within FGS, offers customers a service whereby FGS plans, procures, owns, and distributes service (spare) parts on a global basis. While the level of service is on a case-by-case basis, SPL can manage the return and tracking of defective parts on behalf of our customers to claim redemption under original manufacturer's warranty. SPL also supports major multi-nationals by providing spare parts to their Authorized Service Providers (ASPs), authorized central repair lines (including internal Flextronics), Field Engineers, and end user customers in both the Corporate business space (commercial) and the in-home (consumer) space.

FGS sites currently in the SPL network include:

* Manchester, United Kingdom - European Control Tower, Hub, and Repair
* Venray, Netherlands - European Region Hub
* Budapest, Hungary - Eastern European Region Hub and Repair
* Louisville, Kentucky, USA - Americas Control Tower and Hub
* Toronto, Canada - Region Hub and Repair
* Singapore - Asia Control Tower and Hub

Under the SPL model, these sites accept orders for spares up to 10:00pm or later and ship them that same day for delivery the next day with 95%+ level of fill. These sites currently support outbound shipments of over 500K /month and process a similar number of defective transactions (inbound defective returns and warranty redemption shipments).

The FGS SPL sites along with repair sites (Memphis, Manchester, Budapest, Toronto, and Singapore), have also been actively engaged with Flextronics Computing on vertical integration opportunities supporting its ODM offerings. Louisville, Memphis, Toronto, and Manchester are already providing service parts and whole unit repair support for the legacy Flextronics Computing ODM installed base of laptops and servers. These sites along with Budapest and Singapore are also engaged with our computing segment in support of their new ODM platform releases.
