Ethernet Splitter, Solve Ethernet Wiring Problem

When we need to install a new network device such as computer to the network (LAN) especially the wired one, sometimes we are facing some problems. One of them is there is no possibilities to add a new Ethernet cable.

One of them is there is no possibilities to add a new Ethernet cable since the cable is installed behind the wall or it needs a lot of cables. How to solve this problem?

Switching to wireless LAN might solve this wiring problem. However, it brings new problems; you will spend much money to do it. To create wireless LAN you will need a wireless access point and wireless LAN adapter as many as the computer you have in the network. In case you computers do not have wireless LAN adapter.

Another option to solve this problem is by using Ethernet cable splitter. Ethernet cable splitter is a device which enables two computers or 2 network devices connected to the router only using a single Ethernet cable. This device has 2 RJ-45 female ports and a single RJ-45 Male connector. To use it on your LAN, you need a pairs of this device. You will need also 4 Ethernet cables to use this splitter.

Installing this device is easy. Plug the first splitter into the Hub, or Switch using 2 network cables. Then plug the RJ-45 connector to your wall outlet which usually has RJ-45 female port.
After you finished with the first splitter, now install the second splitter to your computers. Plug the second splitter to computers using 2 Ethernet cables then plug the RJ-45 connector to your wall outlet. Now you have done the installation and the problem resolved.

The Ethernet splitter is the right solution to network wiring problem as I mentioned before. It is also more affordable than switching to wireless network. This device is also easy to found, since t is available in almost electronics and computer stores.
