The Naddiks Create Raw And Unapologetic Punk Influenced Rock
Influenced by punk, proto-punk, and rock greats, The Naddiks find themselves in a vein of music that can only be described as raw and energetic.

Lead singer and songwriter Joel Steenbergen picked up a guitar at age 16 and never put it down. Bass player and backup vocalist Kurt Schiffler is classically trained in several instruments including the clarinet and alto and tenor saxophone. Album drummer Shaun Buchanan who was well versed has since been replaced with Joel's younger brother Nick Steenbergen. The talent and experience with music allows the band to ignore what's popular and create their own well-crafted and original brand of music that they believe touches on past movements.
The diverse background and musical talents of the members allows them to draw from a wide variety of genres and highlight some of the best elements. It is this wide influence and knowledge of the art that makes the album "Amber Sun" truly unique in content, delivery, and raw sound. Recorded at Infidel Studios by renowned sound engineer Tim Duck, "Amber Sun" uses techniques and sounds that are truly outside the box. Featuring elements such as underwater microphones dubbed over by normal mics and Hammond Organ to create a completely unique sound by mixing the old with the new.
The band plans to record new material over the next six months. Having already been invited to most local music venues in their native Australia, the band plans to tour extensively all over the United States, Canada, and the UK. Listeners can expect the physical album to be available on CD Baby by the end of March, and it is available for download right now on iTunes, CD Baby and Amazon. Meanwhile, tracks from their "Get Evolved EP" can be streamed at their site
http://www.thenaddiks.com . Their music is for fans of true rock and roll. The attitude, sound, and content all point to an era of music that not only had no concern, but rather contempt for music designed to make money. Truly a band playing for fans and the experience, the influences and snarling attitude of The Naddiks can clearly be heard in their raw, pure rock sound.
