Las Angeles, VA (prHWY.com) May 2, 2012 - InfiniEDGE Software has received 1st place prize worth $750 with its winning app Scoringo, a bingo style game, but with a sports theme. It was announced in the "Demo Night" of LSU MBA Alumni Association, held at Lod Cook Alumni Center. The second place winner was iPAR Technologies Inc., with their life saving mobile app; they were awarded with $500 prize money.

"We were trying to find a new way to incorporate entrepreneurship," said Natalie Noel, the presenter of Demo Night and COO of InfiniEDGE Software. His product, Scoringo, faced competition from 5 other budding companies, judged by professionals' panel. The main theme of the presentations was to judge the potential of the entrepreneurs' ideas to hit the targeted marketplace.
"The participants demonstrated two main aspects; commercial practicality and potential of their management team," said Craig Juengling, president-elect of MBA Alumni Association. Experts who included Mickey Guidry, Vicki Adjmi, Czarina Walker, Nemo Viso, and Javid Janani judged all the 5 entrepreneurs.

While explaining Scoringo, Neol said that they took the main concept from Fantasy Sports; however, players can also update their mood as per situation during the game. He further explained that Scoringo also has a place for advertisers, represented as spots on the game board.
Stuart Adams, who is the main brain behind Scoringo idea and also the business partner of Noel, came up with another product, Hurricakes, based on popular king cakes. In this product, he touched the unexploited market segment and attached a food to hurricane.

The winning team of InfiniEDGE Software will also receive free of cost executive management training from Craig Juengling.

The second place winner, iPAR Technologies Inc., owned by Tim Geisler, a Fire Captain in Prairieville, attracted the judges' panel with their life saving app for Apple mobiles. This app works by tracking the firefighters located in the area using their mobile phones, location, and the duration of been around there.
The other participants were not awarded with cash prizes, but they appreciated the opportunity to meet with the successful entrepreneurs of the area. They liked the winning ideas of Scoringo, the mobile bingo game, and the life saving mobile app. Everyone in the "Demo Night" was expecting to see such competitions continuing in future, that will enable the budding entrepreneurs of Louisiana to come up with stunning and useful product ideas.
