Among the topics presented were the myths of laser liposuction and injection lipolysis, revealing that since their introduction four years ago, there has been no scientific evidence that these techniques provide any benefits over traditional liposuction. "Hot Topics and Emerging Technology" in plastic surgery included a review of new options in injectables and non-invasive procedures, which are expanding patient options and producing even more pleasing patient results. Reviews also show that there is largely a lack of evidence of any skin tightening using Thermageâ„¢.
