Findings by hotel chain Travelodge show that 35% of grown-ups still take a teddy bear to bed with them to help them catch some zzz's.

The research of 6,000 Brits revealed that men are the biggest kids at heart because 25% of males surveyed confessed that they take their stuffed animal away on business with them, and many said that it was because it reminded them of home and therefore aided them to fall asleep better.

The study also found that 24% men hid their soft toy when family, friends or girlfriends came to visit; and 10% of women admitted to treating their teddy bear like a best friend by sharing secrets with it.

Furthermore, the average teddy in Britain is 27-years-old and 50% of adults still has their teddy from their childhood.
