Spring related activities for Kids can help you through the Winter

This long winter was a good time for many parents to enjoy creative endeavors with their young children, and now, when spring is around the corner, DLTK is proud to offer printable spring related children's crafts, coloring pages and more.

DLTK is a family owned group of sites offering children coloring pages in a variety of subjects, as well as paper craft instruction, and other educational and fun games and activities. DLTK is a product of real parents who started their group of sites as a hobby and have grown due to their appeal to parents and children alike.

Pediatricians claim that occupying children with creative arts and crafts help children fully participate and achieve at school, at home and in the integrate easily into the community. Moreover, the College of Family and Consumer Sciences at the University of Georgia, has conducted a research that found out that parents who involve their children in crafts activities and games contribute to the brain development of their children.

"I have started out as a hobby, sharing the crafts my children like with other parents, and this has become a huge collection that attracts parents from all over the world. I get E-mails from moms and dads thanking me and telling mw warm stories about spending quality and fun time with their children" says Leanne Guenther, who runs DLTK.

The DLTK group of sites is still run by the family with Leann as the main creator and originator of the crafts, games, and ideas for teaching the young how to draw anything from a lion, to a house, to a cartoon strip. Leann states that all crafts are tested and approved by her daughters prior to their publication.

"These days I get so much feedback, and other parents are sending me ideas, so I don't run out of ideas for games, arts and crafts suggestions", continued Leanne Guenther. "I strive for simple activities that children enjoy so much, and that help them use their imagination, and develop their artistic skills in a fun atmosphere."

Parents from all over thee world have come to depend on DLTK for ideas and suggestion for indoor activities with their children, away for TV, or computer games. The appeal of paper crafts is still strong for the young, and the time spent with their parents contributes to their long term emotional and cognitive development.

In addition to the new Spring craft's section, DLTK offers more activities centered around different section: the animal section, the bible section, and the ABS section are just a small part of the offerings.
