Ahmedabad, India (prHWY.com) February 14, 2012 - Vadilal Industries aims to grow 40% in 2012-13 over the Rs.270-Crore turnover recorded in 2010-11. The icecream makers expect the category to add 80% to volume of fiscal by cups, candies and cones. Consumers should also be attracted by some appeal, like Flingo has fascination of caramel and chocolate for youth. The capacity expansion is turned to 3.25 lakh litre from 2.25 lakh increasing market share from 20% to 24%. Same with brand promotion spending turning to 5.5% from 4%. Vadilal Industries is expecting high growth with the help of all these factors in coming 2-3 years.
